Saxon Math 54
By Stephen Hake and John Saxon,
Saxon Math 54 is the first math text used in the Robinson Curriculum. Children who have learned to read and have mastered there addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts through 12 are ready to start Saxon 54. This book will introduce how to add and subtract with up to three digit numbers, read time, write the numbers, simplify fractions, basic geometry, decimal number, number lines, basic units, simple graphs, and much more. Saxon Math uses an incremental development approach where the concepts introduced early on are practiced and reviewed constantly in later problem sets until they become second nature to the student. This approach works exceptionally well with the self-teaching methodology of the Robinson Curriculum. This set includes the Student Text, solutions manual, and test booklet.
