By Gilbert Newton Lewis and Merle Randall
This text on Thermodynamics was first written by Lewis and Randall in 1923 and updated by Pitzer and Brewer in 1961. For nearly a century this text has been a classic in physical science. As part of the Robinson Self Teaching Curriculum it is an excellent book for very advanced students. It is recommended that the student have completed Calculus, The Mechanical Universe physics series, and Chemical Principals or an equivalent series.
